I feel Sensitivity / Pain after getting my Veneers / Crowns done.

I feel Sensitivity / Pain after getting my Veneers / Crowns done.

Sensitivity, is considered normal up to a few months and is an expected symptom after having Veneer/Crown treatment. Some patients describe it as pain.

Most patients agree that it takes a couple of weeks for your biting and chewing to feel normal and speaking to feel completely natural. Any sensitivity that occurs after veneer / crown placement should be temporary. These side effects begin to fade within the first few weeks. For some cases patients agree that this may take up to a couple of months.

It is highly advised taking some painkillers in the early stages of Sensitivity/Pain. The pain will reduce and soothe in time and you can stop taking painkillers according to your situation.

If the Sensitivity/Pain is not responding well to painkillers and the pain is unbearable, it might be rooting from another reason such as high point problem.

After trying above advised items, if you still experience pain and sensitivity please Submit a Request from the Helpcenter and our Support Team will help you with your case.
