FIXED TEMPORARY DENTURE WARNINGS

After having done the implants operation, here are a few things that you should know about your fixed temporary dentures:

  1. Temporary Denture Got Loose
About 2-3 weeks after your surgery; gaps might occur between your soft tissue, and the All-On-4 temporary bridge because of the soft tissue shrinking due to natural healing process. Hence, there is no need to take action for this.

  2. Avoid Giving Over Pressure
If you force the All-On-4 fixed temporary bridge off the limits, the bridge can get damaged, and this can cause major problems. If this happens, you need to go to a local dentist who can fix it, or you should come back to Dentaglobal immediately. However, this treatment will not be covered under guarantee. If you keep using a broken bridge, there can be multiple implant failures, and broken screw problems.
Same for your Teeth can also get chipped or broken if you do not bite properly. Again, this means you force the bridge off the limits. If you experience such problems; you can either continue using the temporary bridge like that, or you can go to a local dentist for them to fix it, but this treatment will not be covered under guarantee.
  3. Screw System Requires maintanance when gets loose
In this system there are 8 or 16 screws in total which attach abutments, and the bridge to the implants. During the treatment process, screws are tightened according to companies’ instructions but still, loosing might occur. If you feel that the bridge is loose, you need to go to a local dentist immediately to get them tightened. If you use the bridge with the loose screws, again, multiple implant, and screw failures might occur.
  4. Mouth Guard Wearing During Asleep is essential
You should use your mouth guard every night while you are sleeping to avoid harmful pressure which can affect implants in a negative way.
